World Book Day
Fri 07 Mar 2025The children looked amazing yesterday as they came dressed for World Book Day. We had a fun day, and all the classes read the story ‘There’s a Rang Tan in my Bedroom’ by James Sellick. It is a beautiful book with a strong message about how deforestation is effecting the lives of orangutans in the Indonesian rainforests. Thank you Mrs Jones for choosing such a beautiful, powerful book, and thank you, parents (and staff!), for all your creativity with the costumes!

Gardening
Fri 07 Feb 2025A huge thank you to all the families who helped out with improving our "green garden" last Sunday. The weather was perfect and so much was achieved in a short space of time. We replaced the decking, rebuilt the herb garden, dug over all the vegetable beds, cleared out lots of overgrown areas including the pond. We plan to have another session in March if there are any other willing helpers, so we can have everything ready for the children to plant this Spring.
