Forces Experiment - Nov 2023
Term 2 Science topic is Forces and this week, Year 3 have been looking at the Push and Pull forces and the effect of friction. We set up ramps with different surfaces - wood, rubber, carpet and sandpaper - and measured how far the same car would travel on each ramp (keeping all other factors the same to make a fair test). We concluded that the car travelled furthest on wood (least friction) and the smallest distance on carpet (most friction).
