Make 2D and 3D shapes

Make a carnival of the animals hanging mobile. Use these cards to cut and colour the animals from the song 'The Carnival of the Animals'. Then hang string or ribbon from a clothes hanger and arrange the animal cards on them. Here is a photo of what it might look like:
Wednesday
LITERACY
Think about how the volcano must feel to be alone. Which parts of the song are quicker and which parts are slower? Think about why this happens. Then retell the story using this template or create one of your own.

Try to recreate his work using your fingertips or cotton buds. You can use a blank piece of paper or start with the background and add to it.

Palm Sunday
Explain that Palm Sunday marks the start of Holy Week, which Christians believe was Jesus’ last week on Earth. Read through the story on the Lesson Presentation then discuss.

- explain why Palm Sunday is important to Christians
- say what happened on the first Palm Sunday
- tell you what the palm leaves mean
