Stone Age Art: Stuarts - Oct 2023
Art this term is linked to our History topic "Stone Age to Iron Age" and in Stuarts, we have represented Stone Age Art in a number of ways. By adding rice and lentils to card, we represented the rough surfaces of cave walls where much of the Stone Age art can be found. Then we added native animals and symbols onto our "walls" which were drawn with charcoal, using only the light of a candle as early Stone Age would have done in their caves. We also found natural colours and dyes using items from the school field and created paints. Finally, we created positive and negative handprints.
