Traditional Tales - 6 November 2020
This term the children in Foundation Stage are looking at Traditional Tales starting with The 3 Little Pigs. They have been sequencing and re-enacting the story, discussing the characters and looking at the differences between various versions of the story. They have also considered the difference in strength of materials - straw, wood and bricks!
They will also be looking in detail at Little Red Riding Hood, The 3 Billy Goats Gruff and The Gingerbread Man and we will be "drowning" them in as many other different traditional tales as we can read to them in a term! This will give them the opportunity to build their vocabulary and their story language and enable them to start to create stories of their own.
