  • Mental Health Awareness Day

    Fri 09 Oct 2026

Thank you to all our parents for supporting Mental Health Awareness Day today. It has been so lovely to see the children dressed in blue and joining in to help raise awareness of the importance of looking after our mental health and wellbeing. Thank you for helping us to remind the children that talking about our feelings, supporting one another and being kind are all important parts of staying mentally healthy.

  • Benchball Tournament

    Fri 09 Oct 2026

Our Year 4 children took part in a Benchball competition this week. It was a Qualifying Round and all of our 4 teams are now through to the final. Three other local schools participated and it was a competition between 10 teams. The four Clewer teams came 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th – well played everyone!

Next week there are more qualifying rounds and so more teams from other schools will go through to the final. The event was organised by Windsor Schools Sports Partnership and hosted by WGS. Thank you to the WGS Sports Leaders who refereed the games so brilliantly.

  • Mr Manwaring visit

    Fri 02 Oct 2026

Today we welcomed Mr Manwaring, Director of Music for WLP, into school. He brought with him an amazing drum set which Tudor Class enjoyed using. Each child had the use of their own individual drum and took part in a whole class ensemble.

  • CEO visit

    Fri 02 Oct 2026

This week we welcomed a visit from Jane Davies, the Windsor Learning Partnership CEO. Jane visited the classrooms and chatted with the children about their learning. She spoke of how impressed she was about their attitude and behaviour in lessons and how respectfully they listenend in our whole school assembly about courage.

  • Dragon Visit

    Fri 02 Oct 2026

This week, Luna the dragon joined us for a magical experience. We were lucky enough to hear her story from the magic book, which told us how she was looked after from being a baby dragon. Some children had a chance to tickle and play games with the dragon. We also had the exciting opportunity to meet two baby dragons, Roger and Derek!

Some classes used iPads and the green screen, learning fun and exciting ways to use them in class. It was lovely to see the children exploring technology creatively and confidently.

A huge thank you to the Friends of Clewer Green for funding another fantastic experience for us.
