• Hot Chocolate with the Head

  A group of Year 1 children had 'Hot Chocolate with the Head'. It was one of the Golden Ticket prizes and we enjoyed chatting about all things Christmas!

  

• Great Fire of London

   Year 2 had a great day on Wednesday as they had a workshop on the Great Fire of London. It was another opportunity to dress up! Thank you to all the parents for supporting this event and creating such wonderful costumes.

  

• Christmas Lunch

  The whole school came together and ate their Christmas lunch. It is a lovely occasion where we all sit down together (in 2 sittings), pull crackers, share cracker jokes and wear paper crowns. Thank you to all the staff for making this possible.

  

• School Council tree decorating

  Some of our Student Council walked down to St Andrew's Church to decorate our tree with creations from all the classes. The children did a great job and enjoyed admiring all the other decorated trees that are on display there too. You might like to take a look at the trees lit up in the churchyard during the festive season.

  

• Stable Day

  This year, our Stable Day and Bible Explorers' Club encouraged us to think about the value of JOY. Reverend Rosie read the story 'A Grumpy Owl and the Joy of Christmas' to each class as they visited the stable. The children looked fabulous in all their dressing up clothes and this certainly brought us a great deal of joy!

  

• Windsor castle singing

  The choir in Year 3 and 4 went to Windsor Castle to sing a variety of Christmas songs. It was a really magical occasion as the children sang beautifully in front of the huge Christmas tree in the long hall. Many thanks to Mrs Laver for all her hard work which resulted in such a joyous, polished performance.

  

• Silly Hat Day

  Today the children showed their support for our Christmas fayre. The children brought donations for the Christmas raffle and were able to wear a silly hat to school!

  

• Roald Dahl Day fun in Year 3
