It was a very happy birthday celebration at St Andrew's church this week. On Thursday, children from Years 1-4 visited to learn the story of Pentecost and how, after Jesus ascended, the disciples experienced the holy spirit and the church was born. Some children offered prayers, including Nethini who offered a Buddhist prayer, and we all dressed in flame colours to remember how one of the ways the holy spirit appeared was as a flame. We'd like to thank Reverend Rosie and her team of volunteers who worked really hard to look after us.
