This week Reverend Rosie invited some visitors from other schools to see one of our Wild Worship sessions in action. The children have been learning about Lent and spent some time reading from the bible. They thought about the temptations of Christ which we have been looking at in our Value assembly and how people observe Lent to bring them closer to God. The children were given some fresh clay to capture evidence of Spring and new life then they made some nature mandalas. The children enjoyed time to be still and calm, taking time to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. These sessions are valuable times of reflection for our children, and they certainly did capture some of the beauty in God's creation!
