The EYFS children have had a great time this week on their trip to the barracks. The children were very lucky to visit the soldiers and learn all about their uniform, equipment and musical instruments. They have been learning how this has changed over time to keep everybody safe and also how the soldiers communicate with each other. The children also went to the stables where they observed the soldiers riding and bathing the horses while also seeing how they muck out the stables. Some of the children were able to watch the farrier applying new shoes to the horses and they were also given the opportunity to feed them! Thank you to the Foundation team for organising such a lovely trip.
