Fito the Orangutan - March 2025
As part of Science Week, we had a visit from "Teach Rex". In our first session, we heard about how the rainforest, home to orangutans, is being destroyed by the need to replant areas for palm oil. We met Fito the Orangutan and the children loved every minute of seeing him. We watched as he wandered around, played a few games and got to know us a bit better!

In our afternoon session, we did some fun activities using a green screen then we met a couple more of the animals - Barry the sloth and Roger the parrot! The children loved every minute of it and have been talking about their experiences ever since.
