Victorian Day 2025
To conclude their history topic, Year 1 had a fantastic Victorian Day in school. They dressed up as Victorian children and did a host of activities including:
- An archeological 'dig', where they used enquiry skills to identify historical artifacts.
- Investigating and playing with real Victorian toys.
- Making their own peg dolls.
- Acting out a Victorian school lesson, including writing on slate and chanting facts.
- Taking part in a Victorian Drill lesson.
