Romans Day - June 2025
What a fantastic day Year 3 had at our Roman Workshop with Lulius Marcellinus, our legionary soldier who showed us so many things about life in the Roman army. From building a fire using a flint and cooking us a typical soldier's meal of stew and "bread", Lulius showed how tough life could be and the children joined in all sorts of activities - from army formations to writing on wax tablets. They were completely enthralled from start to finish and we will definitely be calling on Lulius again to pitch his tent at Clewer Green.
