Wild Worship
Vikings had a Crazy Hair Wild Worship this week! The children continued the good work that previous classes have started, preparing the ground for planting and looking out for grubs and worms. The children learnt how to use the rake and the trowel to sort the weeds. Those that preferred could search for the colours of spring or paint a stone to add to the pile we are accumulating, with designs reflecting the creatures we see at springtime. Reverend Rosie spoke to the children about new life, linking the Hungry Caterpillar's search for food with Nicodemus' search for knowledge. The children considered how the birth of a baby or the change of a caterpillar to a butterfly are all examples of new starts.
